Ranks version 2.1
Changes to the ranks are as follows:
Your rank in the guild will be determined by a few things including, guild points, alchemy level, and fishing level.
Taste Tester – This is a trial rank. All members begin at this level and cannot advance until they have accumulated 10 Guild Points. There are no benefits.
Medicine Man – Requirements 10 or more guild points, fishing skill of 100, Alchemy skill of greater than or equal to 75. Benefits include a 2% share of the profits per week of the total guild alchemy sales. Medicine men may also withdraw Class D and E herbs from Herbybank at the posted GP costs. They are also allowed to bid on recipes at the posted GP costs.
Witch Doctor – Requirements 25 or more guild points, fishing skill of 150 and Alchemy skill of greater than or equal to 150. Benefits include a 4% share of the profits per week of the total guild alchemy sales. Witch Doctors may also withdraw Class C herbs and bid on alchemy recipes. Higher ranks will always win recipes over lower ranks.
Brewer - Requirements 50 or more guild points, fishing skill of 225 and Alchemy skill of greater than or equal to 225. Benefits include a 6% share of the profits per week of the total guild alchemy sales. Brewers may also withdraw Class B herbs and bid on alchemy recipes. Brewers may withdraw gold at a rate of 1 GP = 10 gold. Higher ranks will always win recipes over lower ranks. Brewers are also allowed to invite new members into the guild.
Brewmeister - Requirements 100 or more guild points, fishing skill of 300 and Alchemy skill of greater than or equal to 300. Benefits include a 8% share of the profits per week of the total guild alchemy sales. Brewmeisters may also withdraw any class herbs and bid on alchemy recipes. Brewmeisters my withdraw gold at a reduced amount of 1 GP = 20 gold. Higher ranks will always win recipes over lower ranks.
Alchemy Lords - Requirements 200 or more guild points, fishing skill of 375 and Alchemy skill of greater than or equal to 375. Benefits include a 10% share of the profits per week of the total guild alchemy sales. Alchemy Lords may also withdraw any herbs at no cost. Alchemy Lords can withdraw gold at no cost up to 5% of the total guild bank.
Apothecary rank for non-alchemists
This is a simple and one time rank for non alchemists in the guild. After earning 40 guild points an Apothecary will receive 5% payout per week of the total sales. The quota that apothecaries must earn is no less than 4 stacks of food or 10 elemental earth or water or some combination. Apothecaries may request potions on an as needed basis that is reasonable by the guild master. Apothecaries may not request gold unless agreed on by the guild. Apothecaries are expected to help out the alchemists with their non alchemy professions.
Cooking for guild points
Recently we've been selling food for huge amounts of gold. Here is the following breakdown for cooking food for guild points:
Food level 1-125 full stack = 1/3GP
Food level 130-200 full stack = 1/2GP
Food level 201-300 full stack = 2/3GP
Food level 300+ full stack = 3/4 GP
Check out this link for all the information on food levels and where to find it:
Cooking
FYI
For those over level 35 a static rate of guild points per level of progression will be awarded. So if you increase one level you get 1 GP, 2 levels = 2GP's and so on.
I'm also working on cooked food as a way to get GP's. The more difficult the food the more points. Keep on fishing.
Items for the non-alchemist for guild points
The following items are materials in alchemy and should be included in earning Guild Points for the non alchemist.
Large Fang
Small Flame Sac
Large Venom Sac
Oily Blackmouth
Firefin Snapper
Volatile Rum
Mithril Ore
Iron Bar
Stonescale Eels
Thorium Bars
Thorium Ore
Elemental Earth
Elemental Water
Elemental Fire
Mote of Fire
Mote of Air
Mote of Life
Mote of Water
Quotas for Medicine Man
The weekly quota for medicine man will be 4 stacks of class D potions until you get to level 45. After level 45 you should be gathering sungrass regularly so you’ll need to produce 4 class C potions as a minimum. These are quotas, so you’ll be responsible for producing this amount. Try your best. It shouldn’t be hard. Most of you already far exceed this. There will be no points given for the quota potions, but all potions after the quota will receive guild points as normal. If you do not meet your quota you will not receive your weekly payment.
I hope this isn’t coming off negative. This is just needed structure. Please let me know what you all think. This is a democratic guild and this is version 1. Is it too tough, too easy, just right?
